a prophet in my own land? not quite, but...

Hey blog pals,
just so's you know, yours truly appeared in the local weekly this week in Tucson, talking about merengue tipico, carnival, and other random things.

The reporter wanted me to have a name for my accordion, but I don't (took me a month to think of one for my CAT, for pete's sake), so I offered to buy a beer for the person with the best suggestion. Only problem is, you will have to come to Tucson to get that beer from me.

When we bought our car, the salesman named it. When we went to pick it up and take it home, he "introduced" it to us as Bob. We had never given any of the other cars names, but since he called it Bob, we started doing the same. Now, 5 years later, the name has stuck.

Since you were not so lucky, maybe you could start by letting us know if the accordian is a male or female. Or should its name be descriptive of its sound, appearance, or some of its functions?
